How To Make The Easiest Christmas Wreath Ever

I’ll bet this is going to be the quickest, easiest DIY Christmas wreath you’ve ever seen
There’s only three basic items you need to make it
And you can put it together in under 15 minutes
And it’s just right when you need just a little touch of Christmas
(You could even make one today and have it up for Thanksgiving
Because it doesn’t really scream ‘CHRISTMAS!’)
So here we go:
Get a metal or wood ring
I used a ring off of an old tomato cage
I just cut the legs off of it and it was perfect
You could use a ring from a wire wreath form or any metal or wooden hoop or even an embroidery hoop
Just make sure it’s the size you want your finished wreath to be
2. Wrap your ring with jute twine
Glue your starting end down with a drop of hot glue
Then just start wrapping
It’s easiest if you put a spot of hot glue on the frame every few inches as you go so that way it won’t unwind on you
3. Add greenery
Now just add some fresh or faux greenery on the bottom half of the wrapped ring
I used juniper but you could use cedar or pine or eucalyptus or boxwood or anything that appeals to you
You can attach it with a few drops of hot glue but it’s best if you wire it on with floral wire
And you’re done!
I think it looks best if it’s asymmetrical — one side a little longer than the other
You could add tiny pine cones or ornaments or a ribbon
But I really like the simplicity of just the organic elements…
Here’s a grapevine wreath that I added a little fresh juniper greenery to in the same way
It’s so simple and elegant
And it’s so subtle it just whispers ‘Christmas’…
