MORE ABOUT KIM
I’m a homebody.
There is literally no other place I would rather be. You know how some people love to travel? Well I think the best thing about traveling is coming home! I love the feeling I get when I walk in the door after being gone for a while. There really is no place like home!
My husband (Mr. Redoux) and I have been married for 48 years. (He’s not really an ‘in front of the camera’ kind of guy.) We have a daughter who is 36. She has Down Syndrome and lives with us. And we have an 12-year-old yellow lab.
We lived in Northern California for 38 years. I owned a decorating business there for over 30 years. I was also a design contributor and consultant on several Sunset books.
Over the years, I designed three personal residences and my husband and I built them from the ground up.
We’ve been avid do-it-yourselfers since way before the internet was even a thing. Or HGTV and the DIY Network.
Wow – that was a long time ago….
Fifteen years ago I started a different business that manages money for individuals with disabilities.
So I sit at a computer all day. And pay people’s bills and do bookkeeping.
I really miss decorating.
After 38 years in NorCal, we moved back to my hometown on the coast in Southern California.
And bought my childhood home!
It’s a 1960s fixer with 1970s and 80s vibes.
Boy, is this going to be an adventure!
