Here's What's New At Interior Redoux

Happy Saturday from Interior Redoux!

Here’s what’s happening around here:

October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month

This is our awesome daughter, Loren.

She has such an amazing spirit and she gives us incredible joy.

And she has taught us way more about life than we could ever teach her.

HERE’S another post I wrote about Loren a couple of years ago.

If you, or anyone you know, has just received news that their child has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome, please share this post and encourage them to reach out — I would be so happy to talk to them and share our story! One of the hardest things about learning that your child has DS is fear of the unknown and it’s so helpful to have the support of others who have been there.

In case you missed it —

on Wednesday, I tried out an old wives’ tale about how to fix a scratch on hardwood floors. You can see how it turned out HERE.

And now, let’s take a look at some really fun Fall stuff I found for us:

I LOVE a good pot pie! And this turkey pot pie is making my mouth water just looking at it!

Did you know that Thanksgiving is this Monday in Canada?? I bet Karen will be making these awesome little pies on Tuesday! Get her delicious recipe HERE.

I can’t wait to try this with our turkey leftovers in November!

This pumpkin frame centerpiece is so creative! And it even smells good!

The texture and simplicity of this wreath are perfection! It’s made from corn husks!

Check out Michele’s easy tutorial about how she made it HERE. I would love one of these in my entry — I need to go find a cornfield…

And how cute are these yarn pumpkins?! They would totally cozy up the place!

See how quick and easy it is to make them HERE.

And let’s make all the spaces cozy!

HAPPY WEEKEND!
