How To Make Christmas Gift Bags In 3 Quick Easy Steps
(this post contains affiliate links)
I know, I know
It’s August
It’s still summer
But last year I was so behind the 8 ball that I didn’t even start thinking about Christmas until December 15th
So I’m getting a jump on things this year!
Besides, I’ve heard that there are actually people out there who start preparing for Christmas before December!
Go figure…
And just maybe you have an extra 5 or 10 minutes on your hands
And you’d like to make a bunch of these bags
And be all about Christmas way before it gets here too!
So here you go —
Probably the quickest and easiest gift bags you’ll ever make
Step One
Get a basic plain brown or white craft bag
Step Two
Glue a used Christmas card to the front
Or a handmade snowflake
Or a piece of wallpaper border
Or a cutout from gift wrap
Or sheet music of a Christmas song
Or a page from an old Christmas book
Or anything else you can think of to glue to the front of a plain gift bag
Step Three
Add a bow and some coordinating tissue paper
And Done!
And here’s a quick tip:
If you have tissue paper that’s one-sided
Twist it around in the middle before you fold it
Then fold it in half
Now the right side will show on both ends
I hope you give these Christmas gift bag ideas a try
They’re so quick and easy!
You might want to turn up the A/C because, well
It is August
And Christmas music?
That’s optional
