WOOD

STAINLESS STEEL

One of its greatest advantages is resistance to rust and corrosion, which is especially important in coastal locations where salt exposure is common. Stainless steel is easy to maintain and often made from recycled materials, adding sustainability benefits.
The only major issue is that stainless steel can become extremely hot under direct sunlight, which makes it unsuitable for surfaces that people touch frequently.
RATTAN
Rattan is favored for its lightweight feel, easy portability, and resistance to weather and sunlight. Its natural woven look helps create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere in outdoor dining settings. It works well in both traditional and contemporary designs. Rattan can also be treated with protective finishes to improve outdoor performance and is generally easy to clean.
However, it can fade or weaken over time when consistently exposed to direct sun. Repairs can be tricky because the woven structure requires skilled hands. Rattan seating also needs cushions for comfort.
